Bringing Jung to Life in Sydney.
The C G Jung Society of Sydney is a non-profit association that was founded in 1975 to further the psychological & philosophical perspectives and practices of Swiss psychologist C G Jung and the body of thought that has developed from his original work. We provide a rich and varied program of public talks, workshops, reading groups and other events to promote understanding of Jung's perspective in areas like psychology, philosophy, alchemy and dream analysis..
Jungian analyst Les Stein will examine what the individuation process, the term used by Jung, actually means in real terms and what is likely to occur over time.
This workshop will immerse us into the dark side of our unconscious – what Jung called “the shadow” and will trace how it causes suffering.
Jungian analyst Katina Ellis explores tension between a transgender person’s need to transition and the way that need has been met by society and by the medical profession as a whole.
Psychotherapist and former Jung Society President David Russell shows us how the voices of the inner world, the images of our dreams that do the talking and that constitute the psychological life.
